The item I wanted is sold out. Will you offer it again?

I release new inventory once or twice a month in small batches. The best way to stay informed of restock dates is through social media or by subscribing to my newsletter.

Can I reserve a piece ahead of time?

Because I release in small batches, I cannot accommodate reserves at this time.

Shipping, Returns, & Exchanges

Will you combine shipping if I order multiple pieces?

Absolutely! I will always refund any shipping overages as soon as your order is packed and weighed. I can fit up to 4 mugs in a 12x12x12 box comfortably. Items purchased in conjunction with mugs (bowls, vases, urns, etc.) may require more than one box and shipping label.

Do you accept returns?

I do not accept returns, however if there is a problem with your order, please reach out and let me know.  

I bought the wrong item by mistake. Can I exchange it?

Because restocks tend to move quickly, I cannot offer an exchange. If you order the wrong thing by mistake, please reach out to me and let me know before your pottery is shipped and I will cancel the order.

How is your pottery shipped?

Items are shipped Priority Mail through USPS within 1-3 business days.

When will I get my order?

Orders are shipped priority mail within 1-3 business days. Once it is dropped off at the post office, it is out of my hands. Please refer to your tracking number for any updates.

What do I do if my tracking number shows my order was delivered, but I didn't actually receive it?

If your tracking number shows your item as delivered and you have not received it, I cannot file a claim through USPS. You must file a stolen mail report through your post office.

My pottery arrived damaged. What should I do?

Each item is double boxed so it arrives to you in perfect condition, but sometimes accidents happen. If your pottery arrives broken, take as many pictures of the damaged box as well as the pottery and email it to info@potterybyandrea.com within 3 days. Claims received more than 5 business days past the delivery date may not be eligible for refund.

Is your pottery microwave safe?

Unless noted in the description, my pottery is microwave safe. Examples of pieces not intended for micrwave use are those with gold overglaze, resin, or crystals/gemstones.

Is your pottery dishwasher safe?

Technically, my pottery is dishwasher safe however I do recommend handwashing. While functional, it is still considered art, and the abrasive nature of dishwasher detergent can cause etching and will eventually dull the sheen of the glaze over time. Additionally, the dishwasher can lend itself to the rims chipping if they clink against other pieces.
