Bands of fresh green, amber, and deep teal melt and stretch downward in long, expressive drips, breaking over a creamy base. The glaze had opinions, moved boldly and unapologetically, and that’s exactly why it stuck to the kiln shelf.
This piece is fully functional and food safe, but the bottom bears a visible kiln scar where the glaze ran, stuck, and was ground smooth (see last listing photo). It doesn’t affect stability or use, but it is noticeable and reflected in the price. Proof that the kiln always has opinions.

This piece was made to be used and loved. It’s high-fired for strength using lead- and cadmium-free glazes, then tested with boiling water (212°F) to ensure it’s ready for everyday rituals.
It’s microwave and dishwasher safe, but if you want to keep the glaze looking its best, hand washing is the move. Please don’t put it in the freezer, on the stovetop, or anywhere near open flames—this is a coffee mug, not a science experiment.
