A deeper, more dramatic glaze composition with layered movement and contrast. This mug features a rich, earthy brown upper that breaks into soft transitions of violet, indigo, and muted green. The glaze settles and pools toward the base, creating a sense of depth reminiscent of shifting water and shadow.
Please note:
This piece had minor glaze movement on the base from the firing process as depicted in the last photo. These areas have been carefully hand-ground smooth and do not affect function, but are reflected in the price.
Details & Care
Each piece is wheel-thrown, hand-finished, and signed. Fired at high temperatures using lead- and cadmium-free glazes for strength, durability, and everyday use. Every mug is tested with boiling water to ensure quality and reliability.
